Heartbreaker

I can't believe tomorrow is Thanksgiving! There are so many things in life that I am Thankful for, and know that I don't tell the people in my life enough how thankful I really am that they are in it! If it wasn't for my girls, I don't think I would be the person I am. I try, and try is the word - to be a better person and hopefully am a good example for them! I am so Thankful for the talents I have and hope that somehow they bring joy to people.

Even though its just Thanksgiving, it seems ebay runs about a year ahead
- okay its really only 6 months, I mean 3 months - shoot at this point,
I think maybe I should just list Summer sets and maybe they will sell!
As it is, and me being behind most of the time, I am finally listing some sets for Valentines day.
I know Valentines isn't a really big holiday, but I like the idea of it, even if my husband doesn't understand why I want him to get me roses or candy. I know that the roses will die and pretty much pointless, but it doesn't mean I still don't want them, or just knowing he went out of his way to do something nice and simple for me. Anyways, in the spirit of the holiday, I have 2 sets listed right now, one thats all cute and sweet. You can check it out HERE

And since not everyone is all mushy gushy lovey dovey for Valentines, I decided to go a completely different route than the normal cute sweet hearts. What did I come up with you ask?? Well a 5pc OOAK Pageant Couture set of course!! I can't believe how much I put into this set, and realized after I was done, that I would just have to make it a OOAK, because I can't imagine making another, that and I can't find half the supplies I used to make this one!

I think I have a problem, where if I do something, its either very simple and nice, or I go completely overboard and crazy and basicly keep adding to an outfit till theres either nothing else to add or room to put anything else!! Oh well, what little girl doesn't

like a little bling or standing out from the crowd!!

If you'd like to take a peek at this wonderful ensemble click HERE

I'm hoping to finish the matching painted tote tonight and have it listed this weekend, so if painted totes are your thing - watch out for it coming soon!
Also, mentioning painted totes, I have decided to start painting more than I have been,
and thought that painted totes would make nice quick gifts for Christmas, and since most people just start their shopping this coming Friday, I hope to list a handful of totes Friday,
including some really cute M2M Gymbo!! So if your a gymbo fanatic, add me to your favorite sellers, since I will be offering them on the cheap, but alas ~ I like to be creative,
and all my totes are one of a kind, so if you really like something make sure you bid on it
when its listed since it won't be offered again! If you love painted totes let me know, drop me a comment on what you think would be great painted on a tote, and you never know,
you just might see it listed in the near future, hint hint!
Happy Turkey day to all, and try not to eat your weight in dark meat tomorrow!
Also I don't think the marshmallows on top of the candied yams count as part of the vegtable!
Have fun, be safe, and enjoy the well deserved nap
that seems to come every Thanksgiving afternoon!

Rainy days and Mondays

Rainy days and Mondays always get me down. I don't know why, but I've always loved that song by the Carpenters. Even though its Thursday evening and not Monday, it is rainy out, and I guess it just makes it gloomy. That and it gets dark Way too early for me now! So here I am thinking of that song, and as I write this, my children are supposed to be cleaning up their toys in the play room. I now see instead of putting the toys in those pop up toy bins, they have emptied them all out and now where them as head gear. I think they are trying to hide from me. Too bad their giggles - and find me - are giving them away! To think I'm bringing another one of them into this world. I can just see it - they will probably drag the baby around in the toy box abd play hide the baby. I am thinking I am going to have to get a pen to put the baby in just to keep it safe!

Now I've just asked them if they are cleaning, acting as if I don't see them walking in circles with those boxes on their heads running into the furniture. Suprisingly, it is the 18mo old that takes the box off her head, smiles and says No. I guess at least they hear me, now if they would just listen!

I think I've found what I'll be buying them for Christmas. More toy bins, that way the toys might stay put away - I can only hope! and then they can play with the extra toy bins. Except if they think its supposed to be a toy, they will refuse to play with it.

Am I the only one whos children refuse to pick up their toys, or is that just a common trait of children up to 4 years of age?? My parents keep telling me its my fault I let them get away with everything, and I need to teach them. I wonder if they've just forgotten what its like to have youngins in the house!

New Listings on Ebay

I think I might finally be done with Christmas sets. Maybe, who knows, I seem to change my mind at least 10 times a day on any given subject! Have I mentioned that I'm pregnant, maybe I'm not really changing my mind, but forgetting the decisions I made, so I make new ones. Surely I can blame it on being pregnant - you know the forgetfullness, clumsiness, tiredness. Okay, if its not that it must be the 18mo old I have to chase around, or the 4 yr old I have to hear complain and whine. They lucked out and are cute, so they play that momma I love you card alot and make me melt.
Okay back to what I was going to post! I told you I was forgetful didn't I??

I just listed 2 Christmas Sets, and since its already November - where oh where does the time go - I have made them ready to ship. Each is adorable, in my opinion! and completely different. So whatever your cup of tea is, I hope one of them makes your heart beat faster!

The first is this Hello Kitty Twirl Dress and Pants set.

you can find it by Clicking here

There are lots of fun details in this set, and my daughter has tried her best to keep it, but I'm offering it ready to ship this one and only time! Best suited for sizes 3-6.

Oh, I almost forgot - besides that cute set, I have a matching tote to go with it!

You can find it Here

Lastly, Here is my other Christmas Set. I am calling it Silly Santa. This cute print is from Micheal Miller, and I decided to have some fun with this crazy print, and make a crazy set to go with it. Okay its not too crazy, but it is a little silly and fun!

The set includes the twirl dress, knit top, knit leggings, and knit stocking hat!

This set is best suited for sizes 4-7slim, if you'd like to take a peak at it by clicking here

Thats all for now, and I can't tell you what I have in the works, well I could - but you know I change my mind so much, it might not end up looking anything like I have planned now, so I wouldn't want to get anyones hopes up and then smash them by changing everything!

I can tell you I will have a Valentines set listed soon. A groupie is sending me some Cute Cute Bows, I'm telling to die for bows - if your daughter, niece, cousin, mother, sister - shoot put it on your dog if you don't have a girl handy - because her bows are so stinking cute, I sometimes think about telling her that my baby ate the bow, so I don't have to send them back!

If I've peaked your curiosity, Click here and check her out! If you buy something make sure you tell her I sent you, not that you'll get anything, just thought she'd like to know!

Oh if you do buy my valentine set and buy her bows, I can tell you I will ship it all together in one big fat package, and you'll save on Shipping! Horray!

I'm hoping to post some tips soon of Photography, sometimes it helps to know what people would like to know. I might not know everything, but if theres something related to Photography you have a question about, shoot me a comment and I'll see if I know the answer!

Welcome to my blog

First off, wow - I have a blog! Now what to do with it! Hhhmmm, if you can't tell I am brand spanking new to this. I have always wondered how many people actually read these blogs. I Love to read blogs that are funny. Goodness knows, I'm not very funny, at least not on purpose!
I guess I can't help it, if just being me is funny.

If you don't know, I sell little girl boutique clothing, like my header states! And you wouldn't guess what my ebay ID is, would you?? You don't know, well I guess I'll tell you, its Sew*Meyer.
I must tell you I'm not very creative in the naming department, I took my last name and put it with what I did - sew - and thats how Sew*Meyer was created!

I guess in all naming departments, I'm not too creative, both my girls names end in "on" - and so will the new babys! When we had two dogs, I even named them rhyming names.

Since most people would like to know a little about the person they are reading about, I thought I would share my short version of my life so far.

Here it goes;

I grew up in the country, to most people they would consider it the sticks. We lived on a gravel road, the only people that went down it lived on it! I had 3 brothers and always longed for a sister. Well that didn't happen, so I guess I am lucking out by being blessed with two daughters, and another on the way!
I married my husband, who was a full time farmer - and no hes not a farmer in the Old MacDonald sense - but a row crop farmer. I know, I thought all farmers had animals too, it turns out you don't have to have a flock or hear to be considered a farmer!! Hey, where I grew up it was really rocky, so crops don't grow as well, so we had more cows than corn! Who knew only 30 miles away the soil was much better and produces some great crops, luckily thats where we live.
Fast forward, its five years later and we have a beautiful preschooler, onery toddler, and in just a few short months a newborn. I would put screaming newborn, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed, this one is very peaceful, calm, and happy. One can wish can't they??

My husband mainly farms on his own with the help of his father and a few part time employees. We don't see too much of him most of the time, since even when its not planting or harvest time, there seems to be a million and one things he Must do, so we see him from the hours of 8-9pm through 7am, usually most of those hours either he, I, the girls or all of the above are sleeping during those hours. I used to let the oldest stay up till he got home, and then play until the middle of the night. But since then I have regained my senses, and put an end to that, since I didn't enjoy not sleeping and dealing with a really cranky kid the next day!

Since I stay home with the girls, I realized I needed something to do, and since I Love to create, I usually end up sewing creations for my daughters, who most of the time don't want to wear it, so I just let them model the outfits and sell them on ebay. I would rather know some child gets happiness from wearing my creations than them sitting here collecting dust.

So there is a really small portion of my life. Some days it doesn't seem too exciting, but I wouldn't change it or the people in it for anything in the world.
